The Church supports and promotes the following faith principles:

  1. We believe in the Bible as the inspired Word of God, eternal and infallible (the 1933 edition as a basis). It announces in an authorative manner the Will of God for the people and teaches everything necessary for salvation.
    (Ps. 119:160, Rom.15:4, II Tim. 3:16)
  2. We believe in the One True God of the Bible - Father, Son and Holy Ghost
    (Deut. 6:4; Job 23:13; Isa. 44:6; Sag. 14:9; Mark. 12:29; Joh. 17:3; Col. 2:9 James 2:19; Rev. 4:2 & 8).
  3. We believe in God the Father, eternal, invisible and omnipotent
    (Deut. 4:12; Joh. 1:18; Joh. 4:24; Joh. 5:37; 1 Tim. 6:16)
  4. We believe in the only begotten Son of God, Jesus Christ the Word that became flesh
    (Isa. 7:14; Math. 1:23; Joh. 1:14; Joh. 3:16; Gal. 4:4; 1 Tim. 3:16; Heb. 2:14; 1 John 5:20 and Rev. 1:18) .
  5. We believe in the Holy Spirit that is the Spirit of God and Christ, that convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment and leads man in the whole truth.
    (Joh. 14:16, 17 & 26; Joh. 15:26; Joh. 16:7, 8, 13; Rom. 8:9; 1 Cor. 2;11; II Cor. 3:17).
  6. We believe in the virgin birth and divinity of Jesus Christ the Lord, His crucifixion, resurrection on the third day, ascension and advent (second coming)
    (Lev. 23:1-44; Isa. 7:14; Isa. 9:5; Math. 1:23; Math. 12:38-40; Math. 27:32-56; Math. 28:1-10; Mark 16:1-7; Luk. 22:1-20; Luk. 23:56; Joh. 19:31; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Cor. 15:1-3; Gal. 4:4; Tit. 2:13)
  7. We believe that all people must repent and be born again through water and spirit. That all who believe in the salvation of Jesus Christ must be baptised by singular immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus for the remission and forgiveness of their sin.
    (Math. 28:19; Joh. 3:5; Acts 2:38; Acts 19:1-6; Rom. 6:1-4; 1 Cor. 6:10-11; Gal. 3:27; Tit. 3:5; 1 Pet. 3:20-21)
  8. We believe in the outpouring and the baptism of the Holy Spirit of which the outward manifestation is the speaking in other and new tongues. We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit, and gifts of grace as conveyed in the Word of God by which the Church must be equipped to serve and labour as well as the fruit of the Holy Spirit in a Christian’s life.
    (Joel 2:28-29; Math. 3:11; Mark 16:17; Acts 2:1-4,38; Acts 19:1-6; Rom. 12:3-8; 1 Cor. 14:2; 1 Cor. 12:1-31; Eph. 4:7-16; 1 Pet. 4:10)
  9. We believe that the Church has been called to obedience in the execution of the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.
    (Math 22:36-40; Math. 7:12; Math. 28:19; Mark 16:15; 1 Cor. 10:24)
  10. We believe in the resurrection of the dead to eternal life or eternal damnation and a day of Judgment where the living and the dead will be judged by Jesus Christ and that there will be a new heaven and a new earth where God will reign in righteousness and Glory.
    (Sag. 14:9; Math. 24:40-41; John 5:28-29; 1 Cor. 15:42; 1 Thes. 4:13-17; 2 Pet. 3:13; Rev. 20:11-15; Rev. 21 & 22)
  11. We believe in the frequent serving and participation of the Communion that was initiated and established by Jesus Christ and must be upheld by the Church.
    (Math. 26:26-29; 1 Cor. 10:14-22; 1 Cor. 11:23-33)
  12. We believe in sanctification through which every Christian must be a disciple of Jesus Christ and lead a devoted and dedicated life.
    (Math. 5:48; 1 Cor. 6:19-20; Heb. 12:13-16; 1 Pet. 1:14-16)
  13. We believe in Divine healing of the body.
    (Exo. 15:26; Isa. 53:4-5; Math. 8:17; Mark 16:18; James 5:14-16; 1 Pet. 2:24)
  14. We believe that Jesus Christ set the example of forgiveness and subservience by washing the feet of the disciples.
    (John 13:5-17)
  15. We believe that all Christians must have fellowship with each other and edify one another and for this reason must not neglect their meeting together.
    (Psm. 27:4; Psm. 122:1; Acts 2:47; Heb. 5:14; Heb. 10:25)
  16. We believe that all Christians must bring one-tenth of their income (tithes) as well as their offerings to the House of the Lord.
    (Gen. 14:18-20; 1 Chron. 29:10-16; Pro. 3:9-10; Mal. 3:10; Math. 23:25; Luk. 6:38; 1 Cor. 16:2; 2 Cor. 8:2,3; 2 Cor. 9:6-7; Heb. 7:1-2)
  17. We believe that all Christians should subject themselves to divine institutions and authorities if they are not in conflict with the Word of God.
    (Rom. 13:1 & 7; 1 Pet. 2:13-17)
